Frieze Seoul 2025 맞이하여, Focus Asia 섹션에 참여하는 추미림 작가의 신작을 미리 만나볼 수 있는 프리뷰 프로그램입니다.

추미림 작가는 픽셀과 그리드 조형언어로 삼아 웹과 도시를 작업 주제로 탐구하며, 디지털과 아날로그의 경계에서 새로운 소통 방식을 제안하는 작업을 이어오고 있습니다.

이번 프로그램은 디지털 용어에 내재된 커피 문화(쿠키, 자바, 티팟 등)에서 착안하여, 작가가 직접 준비한 커피와 쿠키를 함께 즐기며 편안한 분위기 속에서 작가와의 대화를 이어갑니다.

In anticipation of Frieze Seoul 2025, featured Focus Asia artist Chu Mirim cordially invites Frieze Connect members to a private studio visit for coffee and conversation.

Known for her exploration of the web and urban environments through the visual languages of pixels and grids, Chu’s work bridges the analog and digital realms – offering new modes of communication at their intersection.

This intimate gathering draws inspiration from digital terms rooted in coffee culture – such as cookies, java, and teapots. Members will enjoy coffee and cookies specially prepared by the artist herself.

 For one day only, "log in" to the artist's studio – transformed into a new interface.
